The eRum2018 Conference took place in Budapest on May 14th-16th.
It consisted of a workshop day plus two days of interesting talks and it has been an incredible opportunity for the Miraiers Francesca, Peter and Stephanie to learn more about the latest developments in the R community and catch up with other R practitioners, which were almost 500. The majority of the conference activities took place in the Akvarium Klub, a venue featuring a large concert hall and a unique atmosphere under a pool. Therefore, Francesca felt like a rockstar when presenting the Shiny App SmaRP and her shiny demo talk collected the most votes within that session.
