'Bring a Shiny App to Production' the hands-on workshop

Learn how to control your R Shiny development with a collaborative and agile deployment to production.

Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) stand at the basis of a robust, maintainable and collaborative productive code. In this 3.5-hours hands-on workshop we will discuss the best DevOps practices for using shiny in a professional enterprise environment. Utilizing golem, usethis, renv, devtools, rcmdcheck and rsconnect packages, and using Git for Version Control, we will develop a small app hosting it on a GitHub repository, and we will deploy it onto shinyapps.io as our productive server solution.
